Patient Motivation

PROBLEM

One of the great challenges for physicians is to motivate their patients to make positive health behavior changes. Changing patient behaviors requires different strategies to be effective. Patients that were put on remote patient monitoring were not staying in the program beyond a few months, in part because they were not seeing value in service. The company wanted us to create a 45 days program to educate and motivate these patients.

GOAL / PURPOSE

Motivate patients to stay in the program so their heart related conditions could be monitored by skilled nurses.

BUSINESS VALUE / BENEFITS

Improve business efficiency, increased revenue, improve user/patient engagement.

SOLUTION

We designed a program to educate patients on the value of remote patient monitoring over a 45 day period and then every 30 days with a dashboard of success. Messages and content were sent on day1, day 7, day 14, day 30 and day 45.
